How to Flush your DNS
Clearing DNS Cache on a Mac
- Open the Terminal app.
- Type "sudo dscacheutil -flushcache" and press Enter.
- Type your admin password when prompted and press Enter.
- The DNS cache is now cleared.
Clearing DNS Cache on a Windows Computer
- Press the Windows key + R to open the Run dialog box.
- Type "ipconfig /flushdns" and press Enter.
- The DNS cache is now cleared.
Clearing DNS Cache on an Android Phone
- Open the Settings app.
- Tap on "Network & internet" and then "Advanced."
- Tap on "Private DNS" and then "Turn off."
- The DNS cache is now cleared.
Clearing DNS Cache on an Apple Phone
- Open the Settings app.
- Tap on "Wi-Fi" and then the "i" icon next to your connected network.
- Tap on "Configure DNS" and then "Automatic."
- The DNS cache is now cleared.
