How to Enable Microphone Access for OwlOps in Chrome and Safari

Having trouble using the audio capture feature in our web application, it might be because your browser does not have access to your microphone.

For Google Chrome Users

  1. Open Chrome: Launch the Google Chrome browser on your device.

  2. Access Site Settings: Click on the lock icon located to the left of the website URL in the address bar. A small menu will appear.

  3. Find Microphone Settings: In the menu, find and click on 'Site settings'.

  4. Enable Microphone: In the 'Permissions' section, locate the 'Microphone' settings. If it’s set to 'Block', change it to 'Allow'.

  5. Refresh the Page: Close the settings tab and refresh the OwlOps page to apply the changes.

For Safari Users

  1. Open Safari: Start the Safari browser on your device.

  2. Go to Preferences: Click on 'Safari' in the menu bar at the top of your screen, then select 'Preferences'.

  3. Navigate to Websites Tab: In the Preferences window, click on the 'Websites' tab at the top.

  4. Adjust Microphone Settings: On the left side, find 'Microphone'. On the right, you'll see a list of websites. Find OwlOps and ensure the option next to it is set to 'Allow'.

  5. Refresh Your Webpage: Close the Preferences window and refresh the OwlOps page to apply the changes.

Troubleshooting Tips

  • Check Your System Settings: Make sure your microphone is enabled in your computer's system settings.
  • Restart Your Browser: Sometimes, a simple restart of the browser can resolve access issues.
  • Test the Microphone: Try using the microphone in another application to ensure it's working properly.
