      Customize / disable links from opening on Android and iOS apps

      For Android Devices

      Step-by-Step Guide

      1. Open Settings:

        • Tap the "Settings" app on your Android device.

      2. Go to Apps:

        • Scroll down and select "Apps" or "Applications."

      3. Select the App:

        • Find and tap the app you want to stop from opening links automatically.

      4. Open by Default:

        • Scroll down and tap "Open by default" or "Set as default."

      5. Clear Defaults:

        • Tap "Clear defaults" or "Clear supported links."

      6. Disable Opening Links:

        • Optionally, you can also toggle off the setting that says "Open supported links" to ensure the app doesn't open any links.

      For Apple Devices (iOS)

      Step-by-Step Guide

      1. Open Settings:

        • Tap the "Settings" app on your iPhone or iPad.

      2. Go to the App:

        • Scroll down and find the app you want to stop from opening links automatically.

      3. Change Settings:

        • Tap the app, then look for "Default Browser App" or a similar setting.

      4. Remove Default Setting:

        • If the app is set to open links by default, you can select a different browser or simply toggle off the setting.
