What's New in OwlOps — July 2026 Release

We've rolled out one of our biggest updates yet: a refreshed Task List, a smarter OwlAI assistant now built into the mobile app, and a number of other fixes. Here's the rundown.

✨ New:

1. A brand new Homescreen and Task List Design (Beta) The refreshed Task List gives you a cleaner, more modern look and far more control over how you work:

• Card view and List view — switch between visual cards or a dense, spreadsheet-style grid.
• Saved views — build a view with your own columns, filters, and sorting, save it, and optionally share it with your team. The right view now loads automatically based on your role.
• Powerful filtering — filter by location, department, region, assignee, subcategory, status, and relative date ranges, all with searchable pickers.
• Inline quick actions — flag, note, hold, close, assign, change priority, ask for an update, or approve/deny right from the list.

Try it Now! Navigate to Setup → Beta Features. Toggle on Task List V2 (and toggle on any Beta Features you don't already have enabled!)

2. OwlAI is now in the mobile app OwlAI is now a native part of the mobile app — a full chat experience with richer, better-formatted answers, right where you work.

3. Technician "Skills" — link technicians to the categories they're qualified for so tasks get assigned to the right people, plus a new Skills Matrix report.

⬆️ Improved:

• OwlAI (web + mobile): a floating launcher so it's always one click away, much better understanding of natural-language dates ("last month," "assigned to me"), cleaner answers, and it can now point you to the right report — and even help set up parts of your account through chat.
• Report viewer: reports display at full height with paging that behaves, and cleaner filters.
• Mobile branding: the app now reflects your company's own colors.
